So it seems as if last week I had a pms meltdown nervous breakdown and absolutly had nothing positive to write about. I promise, you would have not wanted to read what I had to say. However, this weekend turned out lovely. The boy and I bought a bigscreen tv on saturday after a teeny tiny joke from me. We happened to walk into a store and the boy drooled over appreciated this brand new 46" sony lcd tv. I said jokingly "how about we just buy it." and well, we did.how did we afford it? well, financing! It's not real money till 2008! But, I must say, it's way better. I'll never go back to an old tv. I feel really fancy when I watch animal planet. I told my mother that we bought it for the season finale of Project Runway. She believed me, and questioned my ability to manage money. tsk tsk.
On sunday, the boy and I drove to Gettysburg with the dog. It was a lot of fun. Very long and very parched by the end, but well worth it. I'm pretty sure there were tons of funny comments about Maggie (the dog). It's amazing that just by having a big dog people just cannot stop talking to us. We had no idea that people were going to react that way when we got her. We were hoarded at the visitor center for almost 10 minutes. We would have been stuck longer if I hadn't started dragging the dog away. She's an attention hog.
I bought a green ipod nano, nuff said. it's the shit.
Oh, and this is a picture of our pond. It's still in the process, but it's getting there. I like the lily a lot even though it wasnt the one I wanted at first. I just thought I would grace you with a picture. Christmas is coming, and that means a new digital camera for me.
I feel your pain. I am going thru the same thing right now. Yesterday I made the cruelest statement to Steve, and as soon as it was out of my mouth, I followed with, "I'm having my period." Congrats on the TV! Very exciting. AND, I love the fence around your pond. So cute! Can you even wait until Wed. night? I am rooting for Jeffrey or Michael, so I think I'll be happy however it turns out.
